FiiO SnowSky Oak Nano

The Oak Nano is the first model of SnowSky's premium Oak series (SnowSky is a FiiO sub-brand), and FiiO calls it the spiritual successor to its FD7. It uses one 13.8 mm dynamic driver with a beryllium alloy dome, a W-shaped diaphragm and an enlarged external magnet; FiiO measured a flux of nearly 1.5 tesla in the voice-coil gap and distortion as low as 0.1% at 114 dB. A prism in the front chamber corrects the phase of the sound on its way out, and damping mesh in the rear vents controls the airflow for the bass and mids. The shell is pure titanium, CNC-machined, polished and PVD-coated. Two swappable nozzles change the tuning: FiiO describes the red one as deep and full in the bass and the black one as detailed and bright. The cryo-treated 6N silver-plated copper cable uses 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors and comes with three plugs, 3.5 mm, 4.4 mm balanced and USB-C with a DSP decoder (32-bit/384 kHz) and an 8-band EQ you set in the FiiO Control app or on FiiO's website, plus 22 pairs of ear tips and a case.
