iFi audio iDSD Valkyrie (gold)

The iDSD Valkyrie is iFi's flagship portable DAC and headphone amplifier, for listeners who want to shape the sound themselves. Four Burr-Brown DACs work together, and an FPGA can remaster all music to DSD512 or DSD1024, a process iFi based on studio mastering; in normal mode DSD goes straight to the DAC and PCM through one of six digital filters. JVCKENWOOD's K2 and K2HD modes and the analogue XBass II, XPresence and XSpace circuits give further control over bass, vocals and space. The 4.4 mm balanced output delivers up to 5700 mW into 32 Ω (peak) and 2250 mW into 64 Ω continuously, and the amplifier also supports xMEMS earphones. It receives Bluetooth with aptX Lossless and LDAC, takes USB-C, S/PDIF and analogue inputs, and has an RCA line output. Four batteries with 20,000 mAh in total give up to 18 hours of play, and it comes with an iPowerX supply and a custom travel case.
