Privacy policy

• Order details: name, address, email address, products ordered, amount, delivery and payment method, and the status of your payment.
• Contact: what you email us, for example about a question, return or warranty claim.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
• Website use: only if you accept analytics cookies (see the cookie policy). Our hosting provider also keeps technical logs, such as IP address and time, for security.

We never see your bank or card details: our payment provider Mollie handles them.

• To fulfil your order: payment, delivery, returns and warranty. This is necessary for our contract with you.
• To keep our accounts. This is a legal obligation.
• To prevent fraud and keep the website secure. This is our legitimate interest.
• The newsletter and analytics cookies. Only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We never sell your data. We share only what is needed with:

• Mollie for payment, and Klarna or PayPal if you choose them;
• carriers such as PostNL, DHL and bpost, to deliver;
• our distributor, when it ships your product directly;
• Resend, for emails about your order;
• UpCloud, which hosts the website and the database (servers in Amsterdam);
• Google (Google Analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies.

Where required we have data processing agreements with them. Some are based in the United States; transfers then rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

• Order and invoice data: 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
• Customer service emails: up to 2 years after the case is closed.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: 14 months.

You may access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to hallo@aurelaudio.nl; we reply within a month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country.

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only people who need your data for their work can access it.

We count visits with GoatCounter, which runs on our own server in Amsterdam. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and builds no profiles: we only see which pages are viewed, which website visitors come from, and roughly which device and country. That needs no consent.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
