FiiO FH11

The FH11 is FiiO's entry-level hybrid IEM: each earpiece pairs a 10 mm dynamic driver with a carbon-based diaphragm for the bass with a custom balanced armature driver for the treble. Behind the drivers the housing is split into three chambers with damping between them, which FiiO says keeps the drivers from disturbing each other and lowers distortion, and a C-shaped channel inside (FiiO calls it an acoustic flute) is there to support the mid and sub bass. FiiO describes the tuning as focused on detailed bass, aimed at rock and pop. The conch-shaped housings are die-cast zinc alloy, polished and electroplated, and are shaped to rest on three points of your ear. At 24 Ω and 111 dB/mW it plays loud enough straight from a phone dongle or player, and the cable plugs in with a recessed 0.78 mm 2-pin connector, so you can swap it later.
