How it sounds
Frequency response
Dashed line: the Harman IE 2019 target
Measured by Vortex Reviews (IEC 711 clone), published on squig.link. Independent measurement, not by us. Measuring rigs differ slightly above 8 kHz.
Sound signature
Warm
Rich lows and relaxed treble. Smooth and fatigue-free.
Read from the measurement above: bass and treble compared with Harman IE 2019. One curve gives an indication, not the final word.
A warm take on the target. The BL-01 adds about 4 dB in the upper bass (between 150 and 250 Hz), keeps the mids neutral and dips about 4 dB around 6 kHz, which softens the treble. The result is full-bodied and smooth rather than sharp. A comfortable everyday pick for pop, singer-songwriters and easy listening.
