iFi audio GO pod

The GO pod makes your wired IEMs wireless: detach the cable, connect the earpieces to the left and right pods, pair them with your phone and hook them over your ears. Instead of the single chip found in most true wireless earbuds, each pod has a Qualcomm QCC5144 chip for Bluetooth 5.2, its own Cirrus Logic MasterHIFI DAC and a balanced amplifier with up to 120 mW into 32 Ω and 4 V into 300 Ω. Each pod detects the impedance of the IEM you connect and picks the matching setting (16, 32, 64 or 300 Ω), so it suits sensitive IEMs as well as harder-to-drive ones. It receives LDAC, LHDC/HWA, aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC and SBC and is certified for Snapdragon Sound. The aluminium front of each pod is a touch control for playback and calls, a microphone with Qualcomm cVc noise suppression handles calls, and the pods are rated IPX5. They play about 7 hours per charge and 35 hours with the case, which charges over USB-C or on a Qi wireless charger; 0.78 mm 2-pin and MMCX ear loops are included, and Pentaconn Ear, T2 and A2DC loops are sold separately.
