FiiO LINK TWS (UTWS17)

The LINK TWS (UTWS17) turns in-ear monitors with a detachable cable into true wireless earphones: you take off the cable, connect your IEMs to the two ear hooks and pair them with your phone. Each ear hook has its own Qualcomm QCC5181 Bluetooth chip and its own AKM AK4333 DAC with amplifier, good for up to 85 mW into 32 Ω, and it receives aptX Lossless, LDAC, LHDC V5 and aptX Adaptive over Bluetooth 6.0. Both MMCX and 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors come in the box and can be swapped, so one pair fits most IEMs; if you are unsure about yours, FiiO advises asking them first. The hooks weigh about 8 g each, are splash-proof to IPX4, and have buttons for playback and volume plus two microphones each for calls. They charge wirelessly in the case, which has a small display for the battery levels and holds two extra charges; FiiO rates playback at over 7 hours with SBC. A game mode brings the delay down to as little as 74.6 ms, and the FiiO Control app adds a 10-band EQ, channel balance and multipoint.
