From the bass through the mids the Chu stays close to the target, only the deepest bass is more modest: about 3 dB less below 60 Hz. Voices and instruments come through clean and uncoloured, and up to about 7 kHz the treble stays within 2 dB of the target before rising a little. A sensible first IEM for pop, acoustic music and podcasts; bass lovers will want more low end.
