Overview
The LD-UB1 from FiiO's Trust series has a USB-C plug at one end and two RCA plugs (left and right) at the other, with a DAC chip built into the cable. Your phone or player sends digital audio over USB-C, and the cable turns it into an analogue stereo signal; FiiO says the chip handles up to 32-bit/384 kHz. FiiO made it for Android phones and players with USB-C, to connect to an amplifier, receiver or active speakers with RCA inputs. Wifimedia supplies an RCA to 3.5 mm adapter with it. The cable is 1.2 m and built like the other Trust cables: silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors, graphene and copper shielding, and a high-elasticity PVC jacket with a polyester mesh, reinforced inside with 500D nylon thread. The RCA plugs are gold-plated, and FiiO tests the series for 5,000 plug cycles, corrosion and load.
