FiiO SnowSky FH3 Lumi (Deer)

SnowSky is a FiiO sub-brand, and the FH3 Lumi is a special edition of the FH3 hybrid IEM made for vocals. Each earpiece pairs a 10 mm dynamic driver, whose diaphragm is made like paper from cashmere and wood fibres for a warm midrange, with two custom balanced armature drivers for the mids and treble. FiiO tuned it with input from a group of experienced listeners and describes the sound as a retro, analogue-style vocal tuning inspired by classic CD players and cassette decks. A filter circuit with a notch filter tames the 6–8 kHz range, where harsh "s" sounds sit, while the treble above it stays. The faceplate has a silver 3D relief of a deer's head; the 0.78 mm 2-pin cable is 1.2 m of oxygen-free copper with a 3.5 mm plug, and at 27 Ω and 106 dB/mW it runs fine from a phone dongle or player.
