FiiO K17 (silver)

The K17 is FiiO's top desktop DAC and headphone amplifier and the successor to the K9 Pro. It uses AKM's flagship chip set, an AK4191 with two AK4499EX DACs, in a fully differential design from DAC to output, and decodes USB audio up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD512. The discrete class-AB headphone amplifier with ON Semiconductor transistors delivers up to 4000 mW per channel into 32 Ω from the 4.4 mm and XLR-4 outputs, powered by a 35 W linear supply with its own transformer. A DSP chip runs a 31-band PEQ on every input, with which you can correct or reshape a headphone's frequency response. It is also a network streamer with Roon Ready, AirPlay and QPlay, plays from a NAS or USB drive, and receives Bluetooth with LDAC. XLR and RCA line outputs plus optical and coaxial outputs connect it to the rest of a hi-fi system, and you control it with knobs, the 3.93-inch touchscreen, the remote or the FiiO Control app.
