FiiO BTR13

The BTR13 is a small DAC and headphone amplifier that works three ways, chosen with a switch on the side: as a Bluetooth receiver for your wired headphones, as a USB sound card for a computer, or as a USB dongle for your phone that runs on its own battery. Bluetooth goes through a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip with Bluetooth 5.1 and supports LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD and AAC, at up to 96 kHz over both Bluetooth and USB. Each channel has its own Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC, and the balanced 4.4 mm output gives up to 220 mW into 32 Ω; the 3.5 mm output also supports the microphone and buttons of headset cables. A 0.96-inch colour screen shows the codec, volume and EQ, and FiiO's parametric EQ can be set in the FiiO Control app or on FiiO's website. FiiO's patented car mode lets it switch on and off with the car, the battery lasts about 8 hours, and it weighs about 28.6 g with its clip.
