Overview
The K7 BT is the K7 desktop DAC and headphone amplifier with a Bluetooth receiver added, so you can also play music from your phone without a cable. It uses a Qualcomm QCC5124 chip with Bluetooth 5.1 and receives LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC and SBC; in the FiiO Control app you can update the Bluetooth firmware, pick the codec and set a PEQ. The rest is the same as the K7: two AKM AK4493SEQ DACs, one per channel, in a fully balanced circuit, and two THX AAA 788+ amplifiers with up to 2000 mW into 32 Ω from the 4.4 mm balanced output and 1220 mW from the 6.35 mm jack. Besides Bluetooth it takes USB, optical, coaxial and analogue RCA, and it can drive active speakers from its RCA line output. The aluminium case is 55 mm high, and the external 12 V power adapter is included.
