Sound signature

Warm

Rich lows and relaxed treble. Smooth and fatigue-free.

Read from the measurement above: bass and treble compared with Harman OE 2018. One curve gives an indication, not the final word.

A warm, bass-rich closed headphone: compared with the Harman over-ear target, the FT1 has about 4 dB of extra bass, and it keeps that all the way down to 20 Hz. Voices are slightly forward (2 to 3 dB above the target between 1 and 2 kHz), while the treble averages a little under it. The deep, narrow dip at 6.7 kHz in the graph depends a lot on how the cups sit and on the shape of your ear, so don't read too much into it. Good for films, electronic music and hip-hop.
